    Transformation Protocol

    1.Please store GS115 Chemically Competent Cell in -80°C for late use.

    2. Add plasmid DNA to the cell mixture (do not Thaw).

    3. Heat shock at exactly 37°C for exactly 5min.Carefully flick the tube 1-2 times .

    4. Add 1.5ml Solution 1, MIX.

    5. Heat shock at exactly 30°C for exactly 1 hour.

    6. Pellet the mixture by centrifugation at 2000rpm/min for 10min, Pour off cell supernatant, then resuspend the cell pellet in the remaining 1.5ml Solution 2.

    7. Pellet the mixture by centrifugation, Pour off cell supernatant, then resuspend the cell pellet in the remaining 0.2ml Solution 2.

    8. Spread the transformation liquid on the MD plates, then place it on 30°C for 3-4 days.

    Caution:

    1.STORAGE AND HANDLING: Competent cells should be stored at

    –80°C. Storage at –20°C will result in a significant decrease in transformation efficiency. Cells lose efficiency whenever they are warmed above –80°C, even if they do not thaw.
