Purified Monoclonal Antibody against CD31 (PECAM-1)

This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone JC/70A Form Purified Antibody (in 0.01M PBS + 0.1% NaN3 + 1% BSA) Host Mouse Species Reactivity CD31 (JC/70A) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET)Human IsoType IgG1/kappa Specificity The Signet CD31 (JC/70A) antibody recognizes a 110 kDa glycoprotein in endothelial cells and a 130 kDa antigen in platelets. Clone JC/70A reacts with endothelial cells in normal and neoplastic tissues. In frozen sections and blood smears, the CD31 antibody also reacts with megakaryocytes, platelets and plasma cells. The CD31 antibody shows a weak reaction against mantle zone B cells, peripheral T cells and neutrophils. CD31 may also serve as a marker of angiogenesis.
This antibody was generated using a spleen membrane preparation from a patient with hairy cell leukemia.

Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - IHC: ≥1:40 (concentrated format) for Biotin based detection systems such as Signets USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
Tissue Sections: Frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Retrieve-All 1 (SIG-31910).
Incubation: 60 minutes at room temperature
