FAS / CD95抗体背景综述
Mouse tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 6, also known as Apoptosis-mediating surface antigen FAS, FASLG receptor, FAS, and CD95, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) / nerve growth factor (NGF) receptor superfamily. FAS is highly expressed on the surface of a number of cell types including epithelial cells, hepatocytes, activated mature lymphocytes and other tumor cells. This receptor contains a death domain and has been shown to play a central role in the physiological regulation of programmed cell death (PCD, apoptosis) upon ligation of Fas ligand (Fas-L). This FAS receptor has been reported to be involved in the activation of NF-kappaB, MAPK3 / ERK1, MAPK8 / JNK, and the alternate pathways for CTL-mediated cytotoxicity. Accordingly, FAS is implicated in the pathogenesis of various malignancies and diseases of the immune system.
