Polyclonal Phospho-Specific antibody to GluR1 [Ser845] Form Affinity Purified Antibody (Stored in 10 mM Hepes (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 ug/mL BSA and 50% glycerol) Host Rabbit Species Reactivity GluR1 [Ser845] Polyclonal Antibody, Phospho-Specific Rat [Ab] 0.1 mg/mL Specificity This antibody was raised against synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acids residues surrounding the phospho[Ser845] of rat glutamate receptor subunit, GluR1. It is specific for Mr 100kD GluR1 phosphorylated at Ser 845. Immunolabeling of the 100 kD band in a rat brain hippocampal homogenate is blocked by the phosphopeptide but not by the dephosphopeptide. This antibody was purified by sequential chromatography on protein A and phospho- and dephospho- peptide affinity columns. Uses These antibodies are effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution Quality control tests were done by Western blot and Dot blot. The The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
