Cyclic 3,5 adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) is the best characterized intracellular second messenger. This antibody is effective in RIA and ELISA. The IC50 is 30 femtomoles per assay tube. This antibody is highly specific for cyclic AMP. Its cross-reactivity with cGMP is <0.005%, with ATP is <0.007% and with other nucleotides is <0.001%. This antibody is used for the quantitative determination of cAMP in biological samples.
