质体是植物细胞中由双层膜包裹的一类细胞器的总称, 这类细胞器都是由共同的前体:前质体分化发育而来, 包括:叶绿体、白色体、淀粉质体、有色体、蛋白质体、油质体等。有些质体具有一定的自主性, 含有DNA、RNA、核糖体等。
