文献和实验通常我们把能产生负压的小体积泵都称作微型真空泵，但在产品选型时却要严格区分。 真正意义上的微型真空泵（如VM系列、PK系列、PC系列等）是可以长时间对密闭容器抽真空的泵，它可以带动较大的负载。而气体取样泵（如PM系列、PS系列等）工作时泵腔内外的压差较小，所以它带的负载是很小的。就是因为对带载能力的要求不同，造成微型真空泵与气体采样泵所选用的零配件有很大的差别。 微型真空泵对隔膜和电机都有很高的要求。对这两个主要零件而言，疲劳强度、可靠性、寿命等技术指标都是要求在带负载的条件下达

来决定选型： (一)、判断微型泵抽气端工况 用于抽气的微型泵分为两类：气体采样泵和微型真空泵。虽然通常总是不加区分地把它们简单统称为微型真空泵，但从技术角度二者是有区别的，选型时更要特别注意。 简而言之，气体采样泵只能带小负载（即：泵抽气端阻力不能太大），但价格便宜；严格意义上的微型真空泵可以带大负载（抽气端允许大阻力，甚至完全堵塞），但价格稍贵。二者具体区别可以详见我公司网站上“试验数据”中的文章《关于微型真空泵与气体采样泵的区别》，不再复述。
