本试剂盒可测各种组织、血清（浆）及培养细胞、培养上清液、脑脊液等样本中乳酸脱氢酶活性。乳酸脱氢酶（LDH）存在于人体各组织器官中。LDH是机体能量代谢中的一种重要酶，LDH质与量的改变，直接影响到机体的能量代谢，当机体各组织器官病变时，其组织器官本身的LDH要发生改变，并且可引起血液中LDH改变。
LDH增高主要见于急性心肌梗塞、病毒性肝炎、肝硬化、肺梗塞、某些恶性肿瘤、骨骼肌病、有核红细胞骨髓内破坏（无效性造血）、白血病尤其是急性淋巴细胞型白血病、恶性贫血。
在具有尿毒症的慢性肾病患者，血清LDH一般正常，经透析治疗后活性上升，可能与血清中LDH的抑制剂尿素、草酸盐被除去有关。

注意事项：
1. 本试剂盒的检测试剂中含有萤光素酶，反复冻融会导致其逐渐失活。尽管经测试本试剂反复冻融5次对于其检测效果无显著影响，为取得良好的使用效果，*次解冻后可适当分装保存。反复冻融过程中，可能会导致检测试剂中出现少量沉淀，此时宜平衡至室温，并尽量溶解。如仍有残留的不溶物，可以离心去除后使用，经测试不会影响后续的检测效果。
2. 检测时需使用白色或黑色的96孔板或384孔板。如果使用普通透明的96孔板或384孔板，相邻孔之间会产生相互干扰。
3. 使用说明中提供了检测ATP标准品的方法，实际检测细胞活力时通常并不需要检测ATP标准品。
