| Comments: | Animals were immunized with the bacterial antigenic subgroup OLDA (ATCC 43109 ). Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts with a surface antigen on L. pneumophila and is useful in clinical diagnostic tests for subtyping L. pneumophila serogroup 1 isolates for epidemiologic studies using indirect immunofluorescence assays. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
