| Comments: | Animals were immunized with purified human placental insulin receptor. Spleen cells were fused with FO myeloma cells. The antibody reacts strongly with insulin receptors from human placenta and IM-9 cells (ATCC CCL-159 ). It reacts less efficiently with insulin receptors on human erythrocytes. The antibody cross-reacts with the receptor for somatomedin C. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
