| Comments: | Animals were immunized with mouse lymphnode stroma. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody specifically blocks lymphocyte adhesion to mouse Peyer's patch endothelia and does not block lymphocyte binding to peripheral lymph nodes. It recognizes the N terminal domain of mouse mucosal vascular addressin (MAdCAM-1) involved in alpha 4, beta 7 (a4b7) integrin binding. |
