Orosomucoid 2, Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein Type 2, OMD 2, AGP2, AGP-B, Type 2.

ORM2 is a significant acute phase plasma protein. ORM2 is highly expressed as a result of acute inflammation there for it is categorized as an acute-phase reactant.

ORM2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 208 amino acids (19-201) and having a molecular mass of 24.3kDa.
ORM2 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus.

Escherichia Coli.

Sterile Filtered clear solution.

The ORM2 solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M Urea and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
