This is a near triploid cell line (modal number = 69; range = 58 to 74). The frequency of higher ploidies is 2.5%. The line has an extremely complex karyotype with nearly 60% of the chromosomes in each cell being structurally altered marker chromosomes., Among the markers are t(3p4q), t(5q6q), t(5p6p), i(18q), i(18p); t(4q7p), and del(7)(q32). The first four of these are usually paired. Normal N4, N5, N6, N7, N10, N13, N18, N19, N20 an X are absent.
