General description

逆转录酶AMV是禽成髓细胞瘤病毒RNA基因组的一种基因表达产物。纯化后的酶的活性形式为α，ββ和αβ。α亚基的分子量为68 kDa，β亚基为92 kDa。成熟的αβ 形式是活性最强的AMV逆转录酶，其中包含了RNA介导的DNA聚合酶，DNA介导的DNA聚合酶，RNase H和解螺旋活性。逆转录酶AMV适用于cDNA合成，第一链cDNA合成+扩增反应，以及双脱氧DNA测序等应用。
同时此酶也适用于RNA测序，DNA片段的3’末端标记，以及为基因组印记生成单链探针。

逆转录酶AMV需要一条引物和Mg²⁺或Mn²⁺离子才能发挥活性。
