| 产品描述： | The complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of the complement system. C3 activation by the C3 convertase is the central reaction in both classical and alternative complement pathways. Cleaved C3 produces C3a anaphylatoxin, a mediator of local inflammatory process, and C3b, which binds to cell surface carbohydrates and immune aggregates. Genetic variation in C3 is associated with susceptibility to age-related macular degeneration 9 (ARMD9). This antibody recognizes the human complement C3 in ELISA. |

一系列的酶，才具有溶菌、溶细胞的免疫活性。已知补体的激活途径有二：一是早期发现的经典途径，又称C1 通路；二是近年发现的替代途径，又称C3 旁路。 在补体激活的经典途径中，要有抗原抗体复合物存在，以及补体系统的11种蛋白质参加。在激活过程中，这11种蛋白成分可分为三种功能单位：识别单位，由Clq 、Clr 、和Cls 组成；激活单位，由C4 、C2 、C3 组成；攻击单位，由C5 、C6 、C7 、C8 和C9 组成。同一功能单位的补体分子具有化学亲合性，激活后可相互结合
