E. coli DH5α菌株是一种常用于质粒克隆的菌株，其基因型为F·φ80 lacZ△M15 △（lacZYA-argF）U169 endA1 recA1hsdR17（rk-, mk+）supE44λ-thi-1 gyrA96 relA1 phoA。φ80lacZ△M15 基因的产物可通过与pUC载体编码的β-半乳糖苷酶氨基端α互补，实现蓝白斑筛选。rec A1和end A1的突变有利于克隆DNA的稳定和高纯度质粒DNA的提取。本产品是经特殊工艺处理得到的DH5α化学感受态细胞，使用pUC19质粒检测，转化效率可高达108 cfu/μg DNA以上。
