      Specificity Micropthalmia Transcription Factor (MITF) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET) - SIGNET ANTIBODIES Signets monoclonal Micropthalmia Transcription Factor (MITF) D5 clone recognizes a nuclear protein which is expressed in the majority of primary and metastatic epithelioid malignant melanomas. MITF is also expressed in normal melanocytes and benign and dysplastic nevi. MITF regulates the development and survival of melanocytes and retinal pigment epithelium. MITF is also involved in transcription of pigmentation enzyme genes including tyrosinase, TRP1 and TRP2.

      Both are ready-to-use with either a Biotin-based (USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection, SIG-32250) or Biotin-free (ACUITYAdvanced Polymer Detection, SIG-32902) detection systems.
      Uses Micropthalmia Transcription Factor (MITF) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET) - SIGNET ANTIBODIES Micropthalmia Transcription Factor (MITF) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET)This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC).
      Suggested Working Dilution Micropthalmia Transcription Factor (MITF) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET) - SIGNET ANTIBODIES The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.
      • IHC: ≥1:20 (concentrated format) with Biotin based detection systems such as USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
      • IHC: ≥1:20 with polymer based detection systems such as ACUITYAdvanced Biotin Free Polymer Detection (SIG-32902).

        Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
        Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Sodium Citrate HIER (SIG-31932).
        Incubation: 60 minutes at room temperature
        Note: Staining pattern should be nuclear. If cytoplasmic staining is observed, further dilution of antibody is required.
