Description 
Polyclonal Antibody against Somatostatin
(Formerly Signet Catalog Nos: 227-01, 227-16 L1 Predilute, 227-26 L2 Predilute)Intended Use ** In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) ** Form Antiserum (diluted in 0.01M PBS + 0.1% NaN3 + 1% BSA) Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Somatostatin Polyclonal Antibody (SIGNET)Human Specificity The Signet anti-somatostatin antibody specifically stains the δ-cells of the pancreatic islets of Langerhans and tumors derived from these cells.
This antibody was generated using synthetic somatostatin (cyclic, 1-14), conjugated to bovine thyroglobulin.

SIG-3227-16 [6 mL]
SIG-3227-26 [6 mL] is ready-to-use with Biotin-based detection systems such as Signet’s USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).Uses Somatostatin Polyclonal Antibody (SIGNET)This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - IHC: ≥1:40 (concentrated format) with Biotin based detection systems such as Signet’s USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: Not required
Incubation: 20-60 minutes at room temperature
Notes Positive tissue (human): Pancreas - IHC: ≥1:40 (concentrated format) with Biotin based detection systems such as Signet’s USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
