Specificity
The P4G11 monoclonal antibody was generated against IL-1β activated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). P4G11, reacts with calcium-dependent epitopes on the integrin β1 subunit. When bound to β1, P4G11, activates β1 dependent binding to extra cellular matrix substrates.
Uses
This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunofluorescence (IF) and immunoprecipitation (IP).
Suggested Working Dilution
The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.
Western blot: 1:1,000
IF: 1:500
IP: 1:150
Storage
Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. For long-term storage, keep the antibody at -80°C.
