Monoclonal Antibody against α2β1 Integrin Intended Use **Research Use Only (RUO)**
This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone P1E6 Form Ascites Host Integrin α2β1 Monoclonal Antibody Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType IgG1 [Ab] 1-2 mg/mL Specificity The P1E6 monoclonal antibody was generated against human HT1080 fibrosarcoma cells. This antibody is directed against the α2 subunit and will precipitate a complex containing α2, including α2β1 integrin and neutralizes binding to collagen. Uses This antibody is effective in blocking adhesion cells to collagen coated surfaces. P1E6 immunoprecipitates the α2 subunit (reducing) or α2 complexed with β1 from surface labeled cell lysates (non-reducing). In imunofluorescence (IF), this antibody can be used to detect α2 in collagen dependent focal adhesions. Suggested Working Dilution Integrin α2β1 Monoclonal Antibody The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - IF: 1:1,000
Storage Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody.
