Description 
Monoclonal Antibody against Ubiquitin Clone P4G7 Form Ascites Host Mouse Species Reactivity Ubiquitin (P4G7) Monoclonal Antibody Extensive (Yeast to Human) IsoType IgG1 [Ab] 3-5 mg/mL Specificity Antibody P4D1 was raised against denatured bovine ubiquitin and recognizes ubiquitin, polyubiquitin, and ubiquitin-conjugated proteins. MAb P4D1 is equivalent to MAb P4G7. The ubiquitin protein is extremely well conserved and thus the antibody has extensive species cross-reactivity from yeast to human. This antibody was specifically developed to detect ubiquitin and ubiquitin-substrate conjugates by immunoblotting. Because the antibody recognizes a denatured epitope, it is known not to work in immunoprecipitation or immunostaining applications. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Notes Ubiquitin (P4G7) Monoclonal Antibody Predicted MW = 9 kD Storage Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C.
