Phospho-Specific polyclonal antibody to MEK 1/2 [Ser 218/222] Form Affinity Purified Antibody (Stored in 10 mM Hepes pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 100 ug/mL BSA and 50% glycerol) Host MEK 1/2 [Ser 218/222] Polyclonal Antibody, Phospho-Specific Rabbit Species Reactivity Human Specificity This antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acids residues surrounding the phosphor Ser218/222 of human MEK 1/2. It is specific for Mr 45kD MEK 1/2 phosphorylated at Ser 218 or Ser 222 in serum starved NIH/3T3 cells. This antibody was purified by sequential chromatography on Protein A and phospho and dephospho peptide affinity columns. Uses These antibodies are effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution MEK 1/2 [Ser 218/222] Polyclonal Antibody, Phospho-Specific Quality control tests are done by Western and Dot blot. The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
