G-418是一种由小单孢菌NRRL 5326菌株产生的氨基糖苷类抗生素。它在体内和体外均具有光谱的抗菌活性。它还显示出对原生动物、盲肠阿米巴虫和蠕虫的活性。它通常作为遗传霉素选择性抗生素而被人们所熟知。
化学结构:氨基糖苷类
应用:G418二硫酸盐是一种氨基糖苷类抗生素，结构与庆大霉素相似，可用于筛选和维持利用iNOS启动子构建体以及新霉素抗性基因转染的原核和真核细胞†。不同细胞系具有不同的筛选和维持最佳浓度。 细菌和藻类最多需要5μg/mL而动物细胞则可能需要300-500μg/ml。
