For each 20 ul of PCR product, prepare the following mixture in 1.5 ml Tube. 2 ul of 3M sodium acetate (NaOAc) pH 4.5 40 ul chilled absolute ethanol. Transfer the PCR product (20ul) into the tube containing

and dissolve the precipitate by gentle inversion. 10. Add 4 ml of 4 M Lithium Acetate and incubate on ice for 20 min. 11. Centrifuge at 1,000 X g for 10 min. 12. Transfer the supernatant to a fresh tube, add 16 ml of 100% Ethanol, and incubate
chloroform-isoamyl alcohol (v/v, 24:1). 5. precipitate the DNA with 3-M ammonium acetate and 2.5 volume of 100% ethyl alcohol. 6. wash the DNA pellet with 70% ethanol 7. dry the pellete in speed vacuum centrifuge for 10 minutes.
