制备方法 : This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD116 / GM-CSFR (rh CD116 / GM-CSFR; Catalog#10701-H08H; P15509-1; Met1-Gly320) and conjugated with PE under optimum conditions, the unreacted PE was removed.
CD116 / GM-CSFR抗体 Background
Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is a hematopoietic cytokine that regulates differentiation, survival, and proliferation of colony-forming unit-granulocyte-macrophage progenitor cells. It performs biological functions by binding with high affinity to a specific receptor complex which is composed of a cytokine-specific alpha-chain (GM-CSF receptor alpha-chain, αGMR) and a beta-chain shared with the receptors for interleukin-3 and interleukin-5. GM-CSFR has been identified to mediate the activation of Janus kinase (Jak)- Stat and MAPK pathways. The alpha subunit binds GM-CSF with low affinity, whereas the beta subunit does not bind GM-CSF by itself. Although the cytoplasmic domain of αGMR is short (54 aa), it is essential for cell differentiation, proliferation, and survival induced by GM-CSF. αGMR also appears to have a role independent of βGMR in that αGMR signals for increased glucose transport through activation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase.
