本品由6条线状双链DNA条带组成，已预混有上样缓冲液，适合作为琼脂糖凝胶电泳的DNA分子量标准参照。本品6条带分别为100，250，500，750，1000，和2000 bp，条带大小准确，带型清晰锐利，稳定性好。其中750 bp条带浓度最高，大约20 ng/μl，其余条带浓度大约为10 ng/μl，可用于相近大小DNA片段的定量估计。
