Core Detection Principle
Cycle Green Reagent exhibits 500-fold fluorescence enhancement (Ex/Em: 502/525 nm) upon nucleic acid binding, with fluorescence intensity proportional to DNA content:
- G0/G1 phase cells: baseline fluorescence intensity = 1
- G2/M phase cells: theoretical fluorescence intensity = 2
