Description ：Lectin-like oxidized LDL receptor 1 (LOX-1) also known as CLEC8A is a 31 kD single pass typeII transmembrane protein and member of the C-type lectin superfamily. LOX-1 is a scavengerreceptor and is involved in endocytosis, phagocytosis and cytokine production. CLEC8A isexpressed by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, platelets, fibroblasts, macrophages, and isupregulated by inflammatory and oxidative stimuli. LOX-1 recognizes numerous ligandsincluding lipoproteins, apoptotic cells heat shock proteins, C-reactive protein and oxidized LDL.LOX-1 is implicated in atherosclerosis and vascular inflammation.

Recommended Usage ：Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometricanalysis and the oligomer sequence is confirmed by sequencing. TotalSeq™-B antibodies arecompatible with 10x Genomics Single Cell Gene Expression Solutions.
To maximize performance, it is strongly recommended that the reagent be titrated for eachapplication, and that you centrifuge the antibody dilution before adding to the cells at 14,000xg at 2- 8°C for 10 minutes. Carefully pipette out the liquid avoiding the bottom of the tube and add to thecell suspension. For Proteogenomics analysis, the suggested starting amount of this reagent fortitration is ≤ 1.0 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. Refer to the corresponding TotalSeq™protocol for specific staining instructions.
