The authors should revise quantitative estimates entirely. The unit or scale of odds ratios (ORs) is unclear. For instance, one of the ORs was 1.0035 (95% confidence interval = 1.0025 to 1.0045). This OR means that the odds of getting COPD in one group were higher by 0.35% than in the other group. However, the group or quantitative differences for one unit are unclear. Also, the difference seems too tiny as that was equivalent to a 0.35% difference only.

The authors should select a more practically meaningful scale so that ORs become interpretable.  Then, the authors should revise all the ORs into ORs per a unit/scale that would be clinically relevant.
