        亮氨酸拉链基元(leucine zipper motif)

        这类蛋白质都是含有4个或5个亮氨酸残基, 彼此之间精确的相距7个氨基酸残基。这样, 在α螺旋的每一个侧面就出现一个Leu, 这些Leu排成一排, 两个蛋白质分子的α螺旋之间靠Leu残基之间的疏水作用形成一条拉链。这类蛋白与DNA的特异性结合都是以二聚体形式起作用的, 但与DNA结合的结构域并不在拉链区。
