盐生沼泽植物群落 salt marsh formation 亦称盐生沼泽植物社区。通常可以区分为：在海岸连接江河或河口附近发展起来的沼泽植物群落；草本植物（多为多年生）构成的草原；以及红树和其他木本植物侵入的灌木林或乔木林。前者分布于温带地区，常见的有芦苇、管芽的某些种以及 Salicor－ nia herbacea L．、 Suaeda asparagoides Makino等，后者分布于热带及亚热带。根据 J． E． B． War－ ming等（ 1925）的提议，对局部的群落多可划分为其他各群落。
