在杂种优势育种中反复地提高系统间组合能力的方法。一个循环的程序是：（1）对杂合性的杂种群体进行特性鉴定和自交，（ 2）剔除不良个体，（ 3）繁育所选择的优良个体的自交种子，（ 4）进行相互杂交，（ 5）所得杂交种子作为下一轮循环的材料。本法还可再分为表现型轮回选择、一般组合力轮回选择、特殊组合力轮回选择、相反轮回选择等。
