        早期基因 early gene

        早期基因 early gene 在病毒增殖过程的黑暗期的初期，到病毒核酸开始复制这一期间的已表现信息的病毒基因称作早期基因。早期基因包括与病毒核酸复制有关的基因。早期基因中的某些基因能够应用寄主细胞所具有的结构将它的信息转录成RNA，但另一些基因如没有这一部分早期基因形成的产物，就不能转录。这样在早期基因中信息表达也是依次进行的。特别是在病毒感染后，由寄主的酶直接转录的基因称为前早期基因（veryearly gene，preearly gene）。
