胶群体期 Palmella stage

在绿藻的衣藻属中，通过无性繁殖产生的个体不能自由地游出，而是包裹在胶质化的母细胞膜内，成为数千个的群体的状态，称此为胶群体期。以前将它看成是四集藻属（ Palmella）中的一种，所以亦称为四集藻型。把衣藻放在湿土上，或放在琼脂上培养都能形成四集藻型，用水湿润后 2-3分钟，各个细胞便能运动而从胶状基质中游出。这种胶群体期，在衣藻以外的属中也能见到。
