【预期用途】

S100A8/S100A9 (MRP 8/14) 是一种由中性粒细胞和单核细胞产生的钙结合蛋白。面部 S100A8/S100A9 是炎症和肿瘤起源的胃肠道疾病的标志物。
通常很难区分 IBS 患者和慢性炎症性肠病 (IBD) 患者。这导致了许多不必要的结肠镜检查。这两个患者组现在可以使用 S100A8/S100A9 测试清楚地区分彼此。以及以前评估 IBD 活动的金标准，测量粪便中铟-111-的排泄量标记中性粒细胞的患者，因此不建议儿童和孕妇重复使用。
