Product Description:Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-phosphotyrosine antibody (anti-pY) was developed using peptidyl-phosphotyrosine analog-KLH conjugates as immunogen. The phosphotyrosine specific antibodies were affinity purified with phoshotyrosine immobilized on agarose. This antibody could be utilized for immunoprecipitation of tyrosine-phosphorylated immunoblotting tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins, ELISA quantitation of protein tyrosine phosphorylation, and non-radioactive tyrosine kinase assay.

Immunogen:Lodo acetyl phospho tyramine KLH conjugates.

Tested:Human breast cancer tissue.

Scientific Description:Tyrosine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids used for the biosynthesis of proteins. Kinases phosphorylate tyrosine to phosphotyrosine which is considered as a key step in the regulation of enzymatic activities such as signal transduction.
