    Comments: SVEC4-10EHR1 is an endothelial cell line derived from the same solid tumor as SVEC4-10EE2 (see ATCC CRL-2167 ) in a nude mouse injected with SVEC4-10 (see ATCC CRL-2181 ).
    SVEC4-10EHR1 was cloned from cells from the SVEC4-10 induced tumor in 1990 by limiting dilution using medium conditioned by SVEC4-10EE2.
    The cell line is distinguished by its spindle cell morphology both in vitro and in vivo in contrast to SVEC4-10EE2.
    SVEC4-10EHR1 expresses the cell surface major histocompatibility complex class I antigen (H-2 k) of the parental cell line, and express the vascular cell adhesion molecule (VCAM).
    The cells stain positively for SV40 T antigen.
    Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g/L glucose, 90%; heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum, 10%
    Subculturing: Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 is recommended
    Medium Renewal: Twice per week
    Remove spent medium, add fresh 0.25% trypsin, 0.03% EDTA solution, rinse and remove trypsin.
    Add fresh trypsin solution (1 to 2 ml), and let the culture sit at room temperature until the cells detach.
    Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks.
    Preservation: Culture medium, 95%; DMSO, 5%
