Recombinant Human Syntaxin-6

Syntaxin 6.

STX6 is a member of the syntaxin family and has 1 t-SNARE coiled-coil homology domain. STX6 takes part in intracellular vesicle transferring. STX6 binds EEA1 and Interacts with VPS45A, MARCH2, MARCH3 and GOPC. It is found in a complex comprising STX6, STX12, VAMP4 and VTI1A.

STX6 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 257 amino acids (1-234) and having a molecular mass of 29.2kDa.
STX6 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered clear solution.

The STX6 solution (0.5mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 0.2M NaCl, 2mM DTT and 50% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
