Histone deacetylase 8, HD8, Hdac8.

Histone deacetylase 8 (HDAC8) is a member of the class 1 of the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family. HDAC8 is biologically involved in skull morphogenesis and metabolic control of the ERR-alpha/PGC1-alpha transcriptional complex. Histones play a key role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Histone acetylation/deacetylation modifies chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA.

HDAC8 Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 383 amino acids (1-377 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 42.5kDa (Migrates at 40-57kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions).
HDAC8 is expressed with a 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.                                        

Sf9, Baculovirus cells.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

HDAC8 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. 

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
