Taq Plus DNA Ploymerase是Taq酶和Pfu酶的混合物，既有5’→ 3’核酸外切酶活性，又有3’→5’核酸外切酶活性。Taq Plus DNAPloymerase兼具Taq DNA Ploymerase的高效率及Pfu DNA Ploymerase的高保真性的特点。与Taq酶相比，Taq Plus DNA Ploymerase具有扩增长度增加(对模板有效扩增长度可达10kb)、保真度好等优点；与Pfu酶相比，具有扩增速度快、反应效率高的优势。常用于一些对保真度要求高和模板结构复杂(如GC含量高、有二级结构等)的PCR扩增。其PCR产物可直接进行TA克隆，如需提高克隆效率，建议先纯化，加A后再进行TA克隆。
