本品由8条线状双链DNA条带组成，已预混有上样缓冲液，适合作为琼脂糖凝胶电泳的DNA分子量标准参照。本品8个条带分别为1000、2000、3000、4000、5000、6000、8000和10000 bp，条带大小准确，带型清晰锐利，稳定性好。其中4000 bp条带浓度最大，约为20 ng/μl，其余条带约为10 ng/μl，可用于相近大小DNA片段的粗略定量。
