关于CD40/TNFRSF5：
CD40 is a Type I Transmembrane Glycoprotein that belongs to the TNF Receptor Superfamily. CD40 is expressed in B cells, follicular dendritic cells, dendritic cells, activated monocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, and several tumor cell lines. The extracellular domain of CD40 is characterized by Cysteine rich repeat regions. Interaction of CD40 with its ligand (CD40L) leads to aggregation of CD40 molecules, which in turn interact with cytoplasmic components to initiate signaling pathways. Several different TRAF proteins (adaptor proteins) have been identified to serves as mediators of the signal transduction. CD40 plays an essential role in mediating a broad variety of immune and inflammatory responses including T cell-dependent immunoglobulin class switching, memory B cell development, and germinal center formation.

关于HTN3：
HTN3 belongs to the histatin/statherin family. Histatins are salivary proteins that are considered to be major precursors of the protective proteinaceous structure on tooth surfaces (enamel pellicle). In addition, histatins exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activities. Post-translational proteolytic processing results in many histatins: e.g., histatins 4-6 are derived from histatin 3 by proteolysis. Histatins 1 and 3 are primary products of HIS1and HIS2 alleles, respectively. Histatins are believed to have important non-immunological, anti-microbial function in the oral cavity.

关于EFNB1：
Ephrin-B1, also named EFL-3, ELK ligand, EPH-related receptor tyrosine kinase ligand 2, is a single-pass type I membrane protein. It contains 1 ephrin RBD (ephrin receptor-binding) domain and belongs to the ephrin family. Ephrins are divided into the ephrin-A (EFNA) class, which are anchored to the membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage, and the ephrin-B (EFNB) class, which are transmembrane proteins. All ephrins share a conserved extracellular sequence, which most likely corresponds to the receptor-binding domain. Ephrin-B1 has been shown to bind EphA3, EphB1, EphB2, EphB3, and EphB4. The extracellular domains of human and mouse ephrin-B1 share 94% amino acid identity.
