Origami (DE3)是常规表达宿主菌，用于一般含二硫键蛋白的表达。该菌细胞质二硫化物还原途径有两个突变，增加E. coli细胞质中二硫键的形成。抗性为四环素(12.5 μg/ml)或卡那霉素 (15 μg/ml) 。
