本产品是在克必隆G载体的基础上开发的专门用于高效快速克隆平末端DNA片段的专用载体，它是由Sma I酶切克必隆G载体后经过纯化得到的即用型线性载体。跟克必隆G载体一样，本产品带有自杀基因，Sma I位点位于该基因之中，只有当外源平末端DNA插入片段插入Sma I位点，连接后的DNA转化的细胞才能生长，所以最后得到的转化子几乎都是含有平末端DNA插入片段的重组子。
克必隆B载体（诱导型）-Magic Vector B1、 即用性，可以直接用于连接反应，免去繁琐的酶切，电泳检测，纯化，去磷酸化，再纯化等步骤。
2、 具有克必隆-G载体的所有优点，包括零背景，适用于所有E.coli 菌株，多拷贝的col EI型复制起始位点。
3、 高效率，由于自杀基因的使用有效地减除了载体自身环化对平末端DNA克隆的影响，自身环化得到的转化子在有选择液存在时只占总转化子的1%-5%。
4、 应用广泛，可用于克隆酶切产生的平末端DNA，Pfu酶扩增的PCR片段，cDNA片段，3'-和5'-RACE片段，Taq酶扩增的PCR片段（部分为平末端）。
