Required for efficient substrate-specific N-glycosylation probably involving the STT3A-containing OST complex. May be involved in N-glycosylation of APP (amyloid-beta precursor protein). Can modulate gamma-secretase cleavage of APP by enhancing endoprotelysis of PSEN1. |
