Differs from pHPS9 (ATCC 37816, 37817) by partial removal of chloramphenicol resistance sequence (downstream of the NcoI site) and removal of the P59 promoter and sequences encoding the cat86::lacZalpha fusion. Plasmid was not verified by restriction analysis. Strain was checked for the following phenotypes: showed growth on LB + erythromycin (150 ug/ml), white colonies on Xgal +IPTG, white colonies on Xgal + IPTG + erythromycin (150 ug/ml).
