SERIES STM MANTLES
The Series STM mantles perform the same function as Series TM heating mantles, plus operations requiring more heat. With an
upper internal operating temperature of 650°C, these mantles resist burnout.STM1400 and STM1500 have 3" legs for cool lab benches, are sealed, and have inert gas purge fittings.
Specifications
Certification: All 115-volt items are CSA certified except STM400 through STM800.
Electrical: STM400 through STM1300 -detachable 4-ft., 3-wire cord and locking connector. STM1400 and STM1500 -terminal box.
Options
Sizes smaller than 12-liter also available sealed with inert gas purge fittings.
Sizes 12-liter and larger available with switches and pilot lights.
Caution
Series STM mantles are recommended for use with flammable solvents only when used with a Poncho Safety Shield - see
page 14.
