Description 
Polyclonal Antibody against Microtubule Associated Protein 2 Form Antiserum Host Rabbit Species Reactivity MAP2 Polyclonal AntibodyMammalian Specificity The MAP2 antibody was raised using bovine brain MAP2, electrophoretically purified from heat stable MAP fraction and recognizes mammalian MAP2. The antibody will stain neuronal cell bodies and dendritic processes, and will not stain glial cells or axons. It is the best marker to distinguish dendrites from axons in the brain. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting and immunofluorescence. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Covance antibodies may not be resold or modified for resale without prior written approval. - Western blot: 1:1,000
