**Research Use Only (RUO)**
This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
Clone
BXP-21
Form
Tissue Culture Supernatant (0.1% NaN3 + 1% BSA)
Host
Mouse
Species Reactivity
Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BXP-21) Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)Human
IsoType
IgG2a
Specificity
Covances clone BXP-21 reacts with an internal epitope of BCRP a 70kDa membrane transport protein involved in multidrug resistance. Clone BXP-21 does not cross react with the human MDR1, MRP1, and MRP2, gene products.
This antibody was developed using a a fusion protein composed of E. coli maltose binding protein and BCRP peptide [126 amino acids, 271-396 aa of BCRP, GeneBank Accession # AF098951].
Uses
This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Suggested Working Dilution
The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.
IHC: ≥1:20 for Biotin based detection systems such as USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection (SIG-32250). Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Citrate Buffer Retrieval Solution (SIG-31932). Incubation: 30 minutes at room temperature
