ITGA6 & ITGB1 Heterodimer抗体 Background
Integrin alpha-6, also known as CD49 antigen-like family member F, VLA-6, CD49f and ITGA6, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to theintegrin alpha chain family. It contains 7FG-GAP repeats. Integrin alpha-6 / beta-4 is predominantly expressed by epithelia. It is a receptor for laminin on platelets. Integrin alpha-6 / beta-4 is a receptor for laminin in epithelial cells and it plays a critical structural role in the hemidesmosome. Defects in ITGA6 are a cause of epidermolysis bullosa letalis with pyloric atresia (EB-PA). It is an autosomal recessive, frequently lethal, epidermolysis bullosa with variable involvement of skin, nails, mucosa, and with variable effects on the digestive system. Integrin beta-1, also known as Fibronectin receptor subunit beta, VLA-4 subunit beta, CD29 and ITGB1, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to theintegrin beta chain family. It contains oneVWFA domain. Integrin beta-1 / ITGB1 associates with either alpha-1, alpha-2, alpha-3, alpha-4, alpha-5, alpha-6, alpha-7, alpha-8, alpha-9, alpha-10, alpha-11 or alpha-V. It binds LGALS3BP and ITGB1BP3, when associated with alpha-7, but not with alpha-5. Integrin beta-1 / ITGB1 interacts with FLNA, FLNB and RANBP9. Integrin beta-1 / ITGB1 binds to human echoviruses 1 and 8 capsid proteins and acts as a receptor for these viruses. Integrins alpha-1 / beta-1, alpha-2 / beta-1, alpha-10 / beta-1 and alpha-11 / beta-1 are receptors for collagen. Integrins alpha-1 / beta-1 and alpha-2/beta-2 recognize the proline-hydroxylated sequence G-F-P-G-E-R in collagen.Integrins alpha-2 / beta-1, alpha-3/beta-1, alpha-4 / beta-1, alpha-5 / beta-1, alpha-8 / beta-1, alpha-10/beta-1, alpha-11 / beta-1 and alpha-V / beta-1 are receptors for fibronectin. Integrin alpha-4 / beta-1 recognizes one or more domains within the alternatively spliced CS-1 and CS-5 regions of fibronectin. Integrin alpha-5/beta-1 is a receptor for fibrinogen. Integrin alpha-1 / beta-1, alpha-2 / beta-1, alpha-6 / beta-1 and alpha-7 / beta-1 are receptors for lamimin. Integrin alpha-4 / beta-1 is a receptor for VCAM1.
